We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Lyla Jean Diede (Fargo, North Dakota). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Schaeffer and Ottilia Schaeffer (Knoblich); her brother Elton Schaeffer; and her husband Norman Diede. She is survived by: her siblings, Donley Schaeffer and Ilene Knoepfle; and her siblings-in-law, Phyllis Schaeffer (Elton), Marilou Schaeffer (Donley) and Delbert Knoepfle (Ilene). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethel Church (2701 30th Ave SW, Fargo, ND 58103). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that charitable donations be made to Fargo Child Evangelism, Fargo Youth for Christ, or Fargo's New Life Center.
