He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Dobberstein and Rhodia Dobberstein (Cummings); and his brother Myron. He is survived by: his wife Janet Ruediger; his grandchildren, Amy, Megan and Jacob; his children, Debbie DeWald (Perry), Jeff Dobberstein and Brian Dobberstein (Malou); and his siblings, Lois Ruediger (Dobberstein) and Roland Dobberstein (Caroline).
