He is survived by: his wife Jan; his children, ChrisAnn Striefel (Ardin), Scott and Troy (Shawnda); his brothers, Jake (Emily) and Randy (Laura); his grandchildren, Sean Striefel (Shelby), Chelsea Striefel, Taylor Mickelson, Sophie Mickelson and Spencer Mickelson; and his great grandchild Cora Striefel.
