He was predeceased by: his parents, Jason Eddy and Christine Eddy (Graves); and his daughter Keri Riley. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Dykema of West Fargo; his children, Kim Greene (Dan) of Mora and Jeff Eddy (Jill Winberg) of Maple Grove, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Emily Drinka, Michelle Mabus, Heather Heins, Megan Greene, Jacob Eddy, Jayson Eddy, Jaclyn Hoy, Jake Winberg and Lexi Winberg; and his sister Judith O'Brien of Edina, Minnesota.. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
His life embodied charity, humility, and service to others.
