He is survived by: his children, Jan Arens (John) of Fargo, Karen Paxton of West Fargo, Barb Rice (Bob) of West Fargo and Mark Nygaard (Lisa) of Fargo; his grandchildren, Ben Arens, Kathryn Bendewald (Jeremy), Quincy Michael, Landon Rice, Derek Rice (Kayla), Spencer Nygaard and Matthew Nygaard; his great grandchildren, Adam, Liv Bendewald and Jordan Michael; his sister Hazel Campbell; and his siblings-in-law, Sue Nygaard, Lucille Elrite, Larry Lovelace and Jack Johnson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
