He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Aloys and Angela Mastel; and his uncles, Lloyd Mastel and Roger McNeil. He is survived by: his parents, Peter Groves and Annette Groves (Mastel); his brothers, Garret Groves (Alysson) and Daniel Groves (Amy) of Grafton, ND; his nieces and nephews, Reiss, Emma, Joslyn, Kate, Bria and Carson; his grandparents, Garland and Marlys Groves of Anoka, MN; and his aunts and uncles, Andrea (Mark Gausman), Pat (Sue Groves), Jim (Laurie Groves), Andy Groves (Jeff Duffen), Joe (Stacy Groves), Amy (Jordan Wingate), Saskatchewan, Marilyn (Duane Baer), Bernadette McNeil of Fargo, ND, Monica (Robert Dale), JoAnn (Francis Brager), Glenn (Marit Hordvik) and Wayne (Felica Mastel).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (517 4th St NE, Devils Lake, ND 58301). A prayer will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:15 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
