He is survived by: his wife Betty Lentz; his children, Claudia DeJong (Don) and Dan Eckert (Jessica); his grandchildren, Jason Eckert (Kari), Tanya Kahl (Luke), Donovan DeJong (Lisa), Ryan DeJong (Tina) and Alyssa DeJong Fulton; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Eckert, Pitch Stadheim (Hailey), Faith Kahl, John Kahl, Isabelle Fulton, Caleb Fulton, Rylee DeJong and Trystan DeJong; and his great great grandchildren, Charlotte and Rango Stadheim.
