Dennis Kanwischer Obituary
In loving memory of Dennis Kanwischer of West Fargo, North Dakota, who departed this world on November 18, 2024 at the age of 87. Dennis leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Kanwischer and Bernice Kanwischer (Krahler); his siblings, Duaine Kanwischer and Cindy Durrant; his sister-in-law Delores Kanwischer; and his great grandchild Owen Jagim.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Miller of Augustine's Catholic Church; his children, Denise Sargent (Wayne) of Fargo and Marvin (Kathy) of West Fargo; his grandchildren, Tyler Sargent (Amanda), Tessa Gillson (Eric), Katrina Jagim (Eric), Kelsey Kanwischer and Kylie Kanwischer; his great grandchildren, Kendra, Alizabeth, Mackenzie, Zayne, Brock and Ella; his siblings, Gerald Kanwischer (Ruth), Bill Kanwischer, Judy Degenstein (Dale), Allen Kanwischer (Christi) and Dan Kanwischer (Nancy); and his siblings-in-law, Nan Kanwischer and Keven Durrant.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM and on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (210 5th Ave W, West Fargo, ND 58078). A vigil service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family desires a memorial gift to the Fessenden Park Board or the Fessenden Hillside Cemetery.
