It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Cook of West Fargo, North Dakota, born in Park Rapids, Minnesota, who passed away on December 6, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father John; his brothers, Charlie Cook (Sandy) and Tony Cook; his father-in-law Clarence Thompson (Eleanor); and his brother-in-law Dana Thompson.

He is survived by: his wife Deb; his children, Andrea Cook (Russ Pfaff) of Moorhead, MN, Hilary Bertsch (Bob) of West Fargo, Nate Brend (Bonita) of Seattle, WA, Ashley Lenz (Jared) of Waconia, MN, Devin Power of Minneapolis, MN and Grace Dennis of West Fargo; his grandchildren, Jude Cook, June Pfaff, Haley Ferrell (Drew), Alex Bertsch, Aidan Bertsch, Olivia Lenz, Ella Hertel Brend, Benna Davis, Andrew Roberts and Noah Suah; his siblings, Mary Beth Halvorson (Gary) of Conway, SC and Ivan Cook of Stillwater, MN; his mother-in-law Eleanor Thompson of Grand Forks, ND; and his brother-in-law Doug Thompson (Deb). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
