He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Espenson and Winifred Espenson (Williams); his son Randy Allen Espenson; and his siblings, Jean Johnson, Kenneth Espenson, Donald Espenson, Helen Espenson (Monroe) and Alicie Espenson (Cornelius).
He is survived by: his children, Scott Alfred Espenson and Cindi Lou Espenson (Buller); his wife Jean Espenson; his daughter Kasse Espenson; his sister-in-law Carmen Peterson; his extended family, Jake and Wendie Jacobs; and his grandchildren, Joshua Espenson, Jennifer Langreck, Jessica Nowling, Angela Ajiboye, Crystal DiCenzo, Branden Espenson, Matthew Espenson, Kalyn Huffman, Shawn Jacobs, Christopher Jacobs, Joshua Jacobs, Tiffany Jacobs and Caden Jacobs. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild as well as many nieces and nephews.
