It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arlene Oien (West Fargo, North Dakota), born in Nome, North Dakota, who passed away on March 14, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Koslofsky and Martha Koslofsky (Trapp); her son Michael John Oien; her husband Gus Oien; and her siblings, Erna Herk, Herman Koslofsky, Louise Loberg, Oscar Koslofsky, Ferdinand Koslofsky, Elda Pommerer, Ruth Pederson and Mavis Koslofsky.
She is survived by: her former spouse Gustave Hans Oien; her children, Steve Oien (Marlene) of Sunrise Beach, MO, Susan Bigwood (Alan) of Cavalier, ND and Scott (Beth); her grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Austin, Christian, Noah, Nicholas and Parker; and her sister-in-law Shirley Koslofsky. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer a donation to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
