He is survived by: his wife Marlene Boots; his children, Ellis Hickel (Kris), Dana Amon and Rita Olson; his siblings, James Hickel (Angie) and Wilma Hillstead; his grandchildren, Anthony Goethe, Kristina Rill, Kenna DeMary, Joshua Jones, Darin Hagerud (Kaycee), Amanda Westlake (Tanner), Harlee Olson, Casey Hickel (Keanna) and Cody Hickel (Kayln); and his great grandchildren, Trynitee, Evelyn, Zoey, Callum, Haylee, James, Jasmin, Jadyn, Lawerance and Hunter.
