He was predeceased by: his parents, Olaf Leiseth and Juliette Leiseth; his parents-in-law, Palma Johnson and Ray Johnson; his brother Olaf Leiseth, Jr. (Alfa); his brother-in-law Marshall Bergerud; and his niece Tammy Pederson.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Johnson of Watford City; his daughter Joy Patten (Dale); his grandchildren, Kendra Patten (Lane Dokken) and Austin Patten (Kia); his son Jason Leiseth (Peggy); his grandsons, Erick Leiseth (Fallon), Brady Leiseth and Tyler Leiseth; his great grandchildren, Banks and Lenni Leiseth; and his sisters-in-law, Myrna Wollan (David) and Belle Bergerud. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
