As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Francis DuBois, James DuBois Jr. (Jimmy) and Gabriella DuBois (Pooz); his granddaughter Penelope Young Bird; his parents, Gabriella "Katie" DuBois (Young Bear) and Norman DuBois Sr.; and his siblings, Norman DuBois Jr. (JD) and Dorothy DuBois. He was also cherished by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home (304 4th Ave NE, Watford City, ND 58854). A wake was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Water Chief Hall. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
