He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Skarda and Jessie Skarda (Falls); his wife Joanne Blegen; and his siblings, Marge Kieson, Robert and William.
He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Willis (Greg), Gary Skarda (Kathy), Wayne Skarda (Kim) and Randy Skarda (Tana); and his granddaughters, Melinda and Shawna Willis. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
