She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Kusler and Magdalena Kusler; and her sister Bernita. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Nelson; her children, Cindy Sorenson (Wayne) of Williston, Craig Nelson (Julie) of Watford City and Kevin Nelson (Julie) of Mercer Island, WA; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Sorenson, Brent Sorenson, Philip Sorenson, Adam Sorenson (Jalyssa), Meghan Jellesed (Jamie), Heather Kwan (Eric), Janelle Ceynar (Cody), Owen Nelson and Gavin Nelson; her great grandchildren, Mary Rolfson, Asia Dutke, Alex Dutke, Restan Sorenson, Aksel, Demi and Odin Jellesed; and her siblings, Luella Carlson of Fargo, Marlin Kusler (Esther) of Kulm, Howard Kusler (Lucy) of Lake Oswego, OR and Joyce Janke (Lyle) of Fargo.
