He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Holland and Virginia Holland; his wife Grace; his sister Virginia Tripp (Lacy); his daughter Tamara; and his granddaughter Billie Jo Heiser.
He is survived by: his sisters, Virginia Francis and Mary Elizabeth "Lib"; his daughter Tammy; his grandchildren, Ashlee Schaff (Jared), Beau Heiser and Mike Heiser (Kelly); his great grandchildren, Adilyn, Paxton and Devyn Schaff; his son-in-law Roland Heiser; and his sister Lib Grissett (Oneal). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
