She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Miller and Philomena Miller (Schmaltz); her stepfather Friedrich W. Nissen; her husband Paul Volk; and her siblings, Christian, Roy, Johnnie, Margareta Miller and Irene Wolfe.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Volk (Diane), Beverly Volk (Tom) and Joanne Allex (Brian); her granddaughter Brianna Chaffee (Ryan); her great grandchild Klara; and her sisters, Mabel Cunning (Myron) of Gold Canyon, AZ and Anna Volk of Rugby, ND. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
