It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilmer Fischer of Washburn, North Dakota, born in Streeter, North Dakota, who passed away on October 29, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William G. Fischer and Christine Fischer (Klein); his wife Polly Triggs; his son Paul; and his siblings, Rueben, Harold, Melvin, Raymond Fischer and Edna Remmich.

He is survived by: his sons, Lee (Liane), Bill, Mark (JoAnn), Carl, Truong Nguyen and Sandy Kay Hoffer (Dean); his grandchildren, Lindsay Masset (Ryan), Whitley, Taylor, Paul Swanson (Hailey), Tim Swanson, Carrie Wolff (Steve), Keshia Kropp (Garrett) and Joshua Lee; and his great grandchildren, Miles, Kayce, Lorelei, Imogene, Elliot and Ozzy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
