It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Basaraba of Washburn, North Dakota, who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Rausch and Frances Rausch; and her brother Clarence Rausch. She is survived by: her children, Karen Thrams, Linda Grina (Kevin), Doug Basaraba, Bruce Basaraba (Jackie) and Connie Basaraba; her grandchildren, Travis (Katlyn), Josh Thrams (Britany), Emily Grina, Shay Bennes (Matt), John Basaraba, Heather Purvis and Tim Albrecht (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Rye, Riggen Thrams, Isaiah, Brayden Bennes and Austin Albrecht; and her siblings, Frank Rausch (Phyllis), Carol Ohleiser (Bob), Bobbi Rausch and Jeri Rausch.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Parkway Funeral Home (2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck, ND 58501). A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
She worked as an addiction counselor at West Central Human Services, the Department of Human Services and the Heartview Foundation.
