He is survived by: his former wife Kathy Thomas (Lipp); his sister Mary Alice (Charles) of League City, TX; his niece Kristen Nelson (Ryan) of Lake Oswego, OR; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sven Carlson (Andrea) of Sheyenne, ND and Jon Carlson (Dorothy) of Lemmon, SD; his children, Sandra, Schelley and Paige; his close friend Pat Brown of Mandan; and also, Hailee Kroll (Lucas) of Bismarck, Noah, Melissa Sabot (Monte) of Bismarck, Melinda Wagner (Todd) of Mobridge, SD and Shannon Brown (Paula) of Bismarck. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
