He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruno "Ben" Holtz and Edna Holtz (Dohmstreich); his brothers, Paul, Donald, Frank, Bill and Carl; his siblings-in-law, Elda, Marie, Frances, Jacque, Orlo, Vivian Christofferson, Jackie Evans and Milo Christofferson; and his nieces and nephews, Linda Christie, Zoann Shaw, Dale Holtz, Steve Holtz, Curtis Holtz and Brian Holtz.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his sons, Chad (Cara) of Blaine, MN and Brett (Stephanie) of Bismarck; his grandchildren, Hannah, Mariah, Jacob, Julia, Kaja and Caden; his sister Bertina Bye of Tolna; and his sisters-in-law, Arlene Holtz (Don) of New Rockford, Sandy Barber (John) of Devils Lake, Donna Christofferson (Gordy) of Warwick and Sunnie Alm (Duane) of Aberdeen, SD. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
