It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Fitzsimonds (Walhalla, North Dakota), who passed away on February 3, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert C. Fitzsimonds and Eva M. Fitzsimonds (McNamara); and his siblings, Francis Fitzsimonds and Marguerite Hardy. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Howell; his children, Kay Gonitzke of Billings, MT and Robert Fitzsimonds (Cynde); his grandchildren, Jonathan (Edie), Kristin, Lindsay Gonitzke (Levi), Jaci Fitzsimonds (Jonas Udcoff) and Ryan Fitzsimonds (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Jesse, Ashley, Payson, Keiran, Adah, Jett, Jevin, Kealie, Myah, Logan, Teagyn and Nash.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Pembilier Nursing Center or the Walhalla Ambulance Service.
