He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Karel and Delia Karel (LaSalle); his wife Rita Howell; his son Peter; and his siblings, Rex, Lawrence, Gene, Delma and Margaret.
He is survived by: his daughter Mary Nordstrom (Danny) of Walhalla, ND; his granddaughter Amanda Vela; his great grandchildren, Lily, Dustin, Aaliyah, Jaxson and Nova; his granddaughter Rose Sanchez; his great grandchildren, Abdon, Alianna and Alexis; his grandchildren, Eddy Nordstrom (Brittany Brevik), Elizabeth Bill (Troy) and Stephanie Nordstrom (Bruce Richardson); his great grandchildren, Levi, McKenzie and Charlee; his granddaughter Angela Nordstrom (David Christoffer); his great grandchildren, Aubrey and Annessa; his brother-in-law Mark Collins; and his nieces and nephews, Verdelle Jacobson, Danny Dahlstrom, Doris Hoffarth, Duane, Jerry, David, Judy Widme, Stacy McLaughlin and Sandy Flaten.
