We are sad to announce that on December 19, 2024, at the age of 86, Rosemary M. Hornung of Walhalla, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Law and Rose Law (Poole); her siblings, Patrick, Patricia, Kathleen, Michael, John, Maureen and Mary Ann; and her son-in-law Daryl Peterson.
She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Lynelle Osvold (Jeffery), Gregory Hornung (Becky), Peggy Hanson (Shawn) and Brenda Wyckoff (Mark); her grandchildren, Andrew (Courtney), Matthew (Gretchen), Alexandra, Gavin (Laney), Grady, Gracyn, Ben (Karissa), Jake (Erin), Kallie, Cole, Brynn (Austin), JT (Emily) and Braxton; her great grandchildren, Owen, Jack, Ada, Jensyn and Russell; her sister-in-law Rose Mary Law; and her friend Sister Susan Lardy.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Boniface Catholic Church (801 Central Ave, Walhalla, ND 58282). A Mass will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St Boniface Catholic Church (801 Central Ave, Walhalla, ND 58282).
In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be sent to the Pembilier Nursing Center, Hospice of the Red River Valley or Faith in Action.
