He is survived by: his children, James Diemert (Etta) of Statesboro, GA, Roberta Carpenter (Danny) of Walhalla, ND, Jerry Diemert (Joan) of Edinburg, ND, Sandy Urlaub (Joe) of Walhalla, ND, Debbie Gendron (Vince) of Walhalla, ND and Dawn Carpenter (Cody) of Pembina, ND.
Per Robert's request, his body was donated to the UND Medical School.
