We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2024, at the age of 91, Merle Mathison of Walhalla, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Mathison and Mabel Mathison (Arneson); his sister Marlo Thompson; his brother-in-law Glenn Thompson; and his stepmother Alma Mathison.
He is survived by: his wife Beth Danielson; his children, Debbie Lafferty (Lloyd), Jeffery Mathison (Wendy) and Tracie Ivesdal (Trent); his grandchildren, Troy Lafferty, Lynsey Lafferty, Tarver Nova, Michael Mathison, Daniel Mathison, Larin Ivesdal, Bethany Kuchar (Jordon) and Allie Ivesdal (Shad Mack); his great grandchildren, Zoey Lafferty and Rayden Marion; and his brother Arden Mathison (Kathleen).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Walhalla Lutheran Church Furnace Fund and Pembilier Nursing Home.
