We are sad to announce that on April 17, 2025, at the age of 49, Mary E Mattila of Walhalla, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Paul Dearinger; her sister-in-law Karen Dearinger; and her aunts and uncles, Elmer, Robert, Alvin Dearinger, Cathy, Ida and Ruby.
She is survived by: her parents, Gary Dearinger and Patricia Dearinger (Lorenzen) of Walhalla, ND; her children, Micah, Jacob, Faith and Garin Mattila; her brother Curtis Dearinger; her grandchildren, Kayden, Kylah, Winston, Oliver, Spencer, Audrey and Addilyn; her aunts, Dorothy Denault (Dearinger), Margie LeTexier (Dearinger), Eileen Ducioame (Dearinger) and Carol Lorenzen; her uncle Tom Lorenzen; her close friends, Ian Harder, Todd Hardy, Carla Hiller and Kelly Thompson; and her daughters, Alexis Tatum, Samantha McKay and KayCee Underhill.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Walhalla Lutheran Church (416 Central Ave, Walhalla, ND 58282). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
