He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Gapp and Josephine Gapp (family: Walhalla); his brothers, Wilfred, Henry, Phillip and Allan Gapp; his daughter Cynthia Schill; his nephew Greg Brombach; his niece Kathy Weyrough; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Brombach and Jerry Dickman.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Leonard of St. Paul Minnesota; his children, Phil Gapp (Angie), Lisa Dalzell (Kent), Chris Gapp (Jackie), Mike Gapp (Debbie), Maria Gapp, Sharon McMullen (Jim), Larry Gapp (Paula) and Bridget Rudolf (Zack); his son-in-law Larry Schill; his siblings, Frank Gapp (Christa) and Anna Brombach; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Dickman, Karen Gapp and Jackie Gapp. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren: 18 great-grandchildren.
