He was predeceased by: his parents, George "Chub" Cook and Lorrayne Cook (Lein); and his sister Ruth Winger (Debbie). He is survived by: his daughters, Tracy Dalsted (John) of Emerado, ND and Jessie Cook of Cavalier, ND; his grandchildren, Lindsey Wretling (Josh) of Grand Forks, ND, Mason Dalsted of Fargo, ND and Noah Bartolomei of Cavalier, ND; his great grandchildren, Loa and Royce of Grand Forks, ND.; his sisters, Peggy Schmitz of Coleharbor, ND and Mary Kalis (Francis) of Walhalla, ND; and his close friend Sherri Puppe of Hensel, ND. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Walhalla Lutheran Church (416 Central Ave, Walhalla, ND 58282).
