She was predeceased by: her parents, Oryce Carlson (Burns) and Leroy Carlson; her brother David Carlson; her brothers-in-law, Butch Hilzendager and Steve McGregor; her mother-in-law Shirley Johnson; and her uncle Richard Burns (Charlotte).
She is survived by: her daughter Hanna Johnson (Jared Zimmerman); her husband Gregg; her sisters, Sue Hilzendager, Linda Carlson and Sandy McGregor; her father-in-law Lester Johnson; her siblings-in-law, Scott Johnson (Carrie), Debbie Hintermeyer (Scot), Linda Gylland (Robert) and Wendy Malgouyres (André); her uncle Vern Burns (Gayle); her aunt AnnMarie Current (Dale); her pets, Colby, Ryder and Urban; and also Cheryl Olson. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Richland Lutheran Church (6165 172nd Ave SE, Walcott, ND 58077). A prayer was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to 4 Luv of Dog Rescue in memory of Nancy Johnson, who was heavily involved in the cause for many years of her life.
