It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yoshiko Tollefson of Wahpeton, North Dakota, who passed away on September 19, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sukeji Otsuka and Hayashi Otsuka; her parents-in-law, Harry and Esther Tollefson; and her siblings-in-law, Everette and Aurlette Tollefson.
She is survived by: her husband Gale (S. Consulate Fukuoka); her children, Yvonne Toso (Scott) of Fergus Falls, MN, Glen Tollefson (Shelley) of Wahpeton, ND and Marlene Ferguson (Keith) of West Fargo, ND; her grandchildren, Nick Tollefson (Ally), Ashlyn Munsch (Chris), Casey Hickel (Keanna), Cody Hickel (Kayln), Tyler Tollefson, Joshua Ferguson (Rachel), Jacob Ferguson (Victoria) and Mikia Ferguson; her niece Bernice Overland; and her nephew Doyle Tollefson (Jodi). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and one on the way; grand-dogs.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Wahpeton Senior Center and the Bethel Lutheran Church in Wahpeton.
