Virginia Matthiesen Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 3, 2020, at the age of 90, Virginia Matthiesen of Wahpeton, North Dakota, born in Oskaloosa, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Claire Gordon and Sara Gordon (Grant); her husbands, William Jones and Henry Matthiesen; her daughters, Kerry Banks (Jones) and Becky Gursky (Jones); and her siblings, Claire "Bro" Gordon, Jr., James Gordon and Beth Burger (Gordon).

She is survived by: her son John Jones (Brenda) of Wahpeton, ND; and her sons-in-law, Robert Banks and Steve Gursky. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
