It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Theresa Thompson (Wahpeton, North Dakota), born in Breckenridge, Minnesota, who passed away on September 10, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Braun and Dorothy Braun (Carr); her spouse Iry Thompson; her sons, Kevin, Kyle and Gregory Thompson; and her siblings, Evan, Matt Braun and Betty Nelson.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas Thompson (Diana) of Puyallup, WA and Theresa Jacobs (Brad) of New England, ND; her grandchildren, Thomas, Amy, Jeremy, Derrick, Bryant and Marissa; and her brother Thomas Braun of Sacramento, CA.. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials be sent to the Benedictine Living Community of Wahpeton Foundation, 1307 Seventh St. N, Wahpeton, ND 58075.
