It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sylvia G. Likness of Wahpeton, North Dakota, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hektner and Mabel Hektner (Huss); her husband Carleton Likness; her sons, Greg and Cory; and her siblings, Inez Ekre, Jeanette Radig (Mark), Vernon Hektner (Leona) and Don Hektner (Ann).

She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Nelson (Greg); her grandchildren, Chelsey Hauck (Ryan), Jaden Cuypers (Carissa), Serrianna Lindeman (Peter) and Christopher Likness; her daughter-in-law Dorothy Likness; her brother-in-law Al Ekre; and her great grandchildren, Brea, Ayden, Chase, Gemma, Jaxton, Ella Hauck, Jora, Vaida and Ezra Cuypers.
