It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ruth Lies of Wahpeton, North Dakota, who passed away at the age of 103, on April 4, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Inga Lura and Peter Lura; and her husband Jim. She is survived by: her children, James Jr. Lies (Renee) of Grand Forks, ND, Steve Lies (Patricia) of Wahpeton, ND and Lura Kirby (Michael) of Littleton, CO; and her grandchildren, Brad Lies (Camie), Kristin King (Dan), Karrin Christians (Dan), Stephanie Zimmerli (Jacob), Jay Lies (Sarah), Michael Kirby (Stacy) and James Kirby. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Catherine's Living Center, Wahpeton.
