She was predeceased by: her parents, Haakon Salness and Louise Salness (Franzee); her siblings, Robert, Clayton, James and Eunice Liedel; and her son-in-law Dan Diederich.
She is survived by: her husband Herbert Youngquist; and her children, David (Gloria) of Balsam Grove, NC, Nancy Diederich and Connie Vagts. She is also survived by five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
