With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Busta of Wahpeton, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2025 at the age of 71. As Mary departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mary leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walt Busta and Dorene Busta (Winefelt); her close friend Marian Saunders; and her sister Kathy. She is survived by: her brother-in-law John Gagelin; and her siblings, Jane Stein (LeRoy) and Michael Busta (Sue). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
