She was predeceased by: her parents, John Melting and Nora Melting (Tvedt); her husband Henry Gilbertson of Halstad, MN.; and her siblings, John Melting (Janice), David Melting (Jean), Carlton Melting (Ruth), Marlene Bennett (Richard) and Loretta Solberg (Archie).
She is survived by: her son Nathan Gilbertson; her daughter-in-law Shawn Gilbertson; her granddaughters, Shanae Stafki (Samuel) and Janna Gilbertson; her great grandchild Eoin Stafki; and her close friend Nancy Ziegelmann.
One of greatest accomplishments was her contributions to the creation of the Halstad Centennial book.
