He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Palmer and Elva Palmer (Backer); and his siblings, Darlene and Leonard. He is survived by: his former wife Janet Oie; his daughters, Connie Pekerak and Dawn Brehmer; his spouse Dori Dufault; his friend Springer Spaniels; his son Steve Palmer (Julie); and his stepchildren, Charlene Berke, Patrick Dufault, Christine Bischoff and David Dufault.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (200 Mooreton Ave N, Mooreton, ND 58061). A rosary was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
