We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2025, at the age of 81, Larry Hjelmstad of Wahpeton, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hjelmstad and Margaret Hjelmstad (Strutz); his brothers, Frayne Morton and Loren Clark; and his grandson Riley Peter.

He is survived by: his wife Nora Marie Gronhovd; his children, Pete (Nikki) of Mason City, Iowa, Ken of Mesa, Arizona, Clark (Heather) of Maple Grove, Minnesota and Adonica Good (Todd) of Wahpeton; his grandchildren, Drew, Casey, Jonathan, Medora and Oscar; and his great grandchild Greyson Torrance.

Memorials may be directed to the Hatton American Legion.
