He was predeceased by: his father Lyle Pfeifer. He is survived by: his mother Jeannette Pfeifer (Pederson); his daughter Justice Pfeifer of Breckenridge, MN; his siblings, Susan McCullough (Greg) of Fargo, ND, Bryan Pfeifer (Deb) and Kathy Kelso (Steve Parish); his nieces and nephews, Rusty Bender, Clint Kelso (Alyssa), Damian Pfeifer, Sharra Lang (Nick), Shelbie Kelso (Jacob PerDue), Kirsten McCullough and Paige McCullough; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jailee PerDue, Easton PerDue, Khloe Lang and Rogan Lang.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers that donations be made to the Wahpeton Sportsman's Club or a suicide prevention foundation.
