She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Layman and Della Layman (Bump); her husband Paul Wawers; her siblings, Marvin Layman, Winnifred Lahs (Ed), Earl Layman (Dorothy), William Layman, James Layman and Irvin Layman; and her nephews, Don Reichmuth, Ralph Setterlund and Kevin Layman.
She is survived by: her children, Midge Margaret Thompson (Scott Sannes) and Peter Wawers (Lea); her grandchildren, Samantha Knudson (Terrell), Steevie Frankl (Ben Bailey), Xavier Thompson, Monet Thompson, Jade, Jamie, Jaycee and Jayla Wawers; her great grandchildren, Teegan, Tavin and Tripp Knudson; her sisters, MaryAnn Weick (Marvin) and Claire Marie Beck (Alvin); and her parents-in-law, Edith Wawers, Eve Miller, Marlys Miller and Ben Wawers (Marilyn). She is also survived by several nephews, nieces, and other special family friends.
