It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenn Wateland (Wahpeton, North Dakota), who passed away on October 3, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Wateland and Olga Wateland (Bakken); his wife Beverly Halstenson; his son Curtis Wateland; and his siblings, Jervis Wateland, Wallace Wateland, Kermit Wateland and Betty Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Wateland (Brenda), Jan Thompson (Todd) and Ryan Wateland (Liz); his grandchildren, Jacob Wateland (Kensi), Joseph Wateland (Tara), James Wateland (Savannah), Sean Thompson, Sam Wateland, Brady Wateland, Katie Fassler (Chris), Sarah Waters (Justin), Savannah Wateland and Lillian Wateland; his daughter-in-law Crystal Merrill; and his sisters, Ruth Kutzer, Gloria Lund, Lois Schaaf (Roger) and Donna Mielke (Darwin). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
