He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Shannon and Marjorie Shannon (Carnicom); his former wife Jackie Shannon; his wife Barbara Pfister-Shannon; his siblings, Carol Berlekamp and John Shannon; and his siblings-in-law, Rolland Berlekamp, Larry Richter, Darwin Bliss and Joan Bliss.
He is survived by: his former spouse Jackie Richter; his children, Steve Shannon (Julie) of Helena, MT, Mike Shannon (Deb) and Pam Moore; his grandson Cory Shannon (Lisa); his great grandchildren, Owen, Aaron and Rob Shannon (Katie); his sisters-in-law, Rich, Sandy Richter, Mary Ellen Shannon and Ida Richter; and also, Keira, Kane, Quinn, Richie Shannon (Ashley), Bryce, Olivia, Matt Shannon (Nichole), Mark Shannon (Leslie Ortiz-Cruz) and Michael Moore (Raelyn Hughes).
The family requests that everyone wear a mask to the visitation and funeral service.
