He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernie Rydell and Dorothy Rydell; his wife Cathy O'Keefe; his son Steve; his sister June; and his brother-in-law Keith.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Goodijohn (Kathy), Kris Braun (Jack) and Kay Lick (RJ); and his siblings, Valerie (Stan) and Dean (Joan). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vertin-Munson Funeral Home (224 6th St N, Wahpeton, ND 58074). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
