He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Lauman and Louise Lauman (Elmquist); his wife Mary Ann; his children, Karen and Justin; his parents-in-law, Carl and Mabel Frybert; and his siblings, Jim, Phillip, Mary and Caroline.
He is survived by: his friend Earl Barton; his children, Catherine Stigen (Blaine) of Hillsboro, Elizabeth Lauman and John Lauman; his siblings, Ed, William Lauman and Helen Lauman of Wahpeton; and his niece Starla Hecker.
