It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther G. Braaten of Wahpeton, North Dakota, who passed away on May 22, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alf Larson and Jennie Larson (Gaasland); her husband Gil; her son Dennis; and her siblings, Howard, Allen, John, Erling, Kathryn Reardon and Marion Bartholamay.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Braaten, Norman Braaten (Karen) and Carol Rhyne (Mark); her daughter-in-law Cindy Braaten; her grandchildren, Tracy Buzalsky (Lawrence), Catherine Braaten, Conner Braaten, Karrissa Nix (Anthony), Kassandra Braaten, Kameron Braaten, Tavio Mcalister and Tevon Rhyne; and her brother Chet. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Gol-Aal Cemetery in Wyndmere, ND, Immanuel Lutheran Church, in Wahpeton, or a charity of your choice.
