Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Donald Rubertus (Wahpeton, North Dakota), who passed away at the age of 89, on March 14, 2019. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland and Clara; his son Rick Rubertus; and his brothers, Billy Rubertus and Robert Rubertus.
He is survived by: his spouses, Dolores "Dolly" Spellerberg and Dolly Rubertus of Wahpeton; his children, Jeanne Slanga (Tom) of Ham Lake, MN, Renee Rubertus and Don Rubertus (Crys); his grandchildren, Nick Slanga, Matt Slanga, Chris Slanga, Bre Hamdan and Cody Rubertus; and his brother Rollie Rubertus. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's School in Wahpeton.
