He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Mathias and Lydia Mathias (Wertz); and his sister Doreen Beaver. He is survived by: his wife Georgia; his daughter Cynthia Grothmann (Wayne) of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Lucas (Lizzie), Stone Grothmann, Briana Landry (Tyler), Finley Boeckel and Kendra Grothmann; his daughter Donna Manske (Craig) of Wahpeton, ND; his grandchildren, Alicia Sawyer (Matt), Savannah Ohlhauser, Brittney Karina (Alex), Blake, Ellee Waloch and Ethan Manske (Erika); his son Arlan Mathias (Susie) of Kindred, ND; his grandchildren, Megan, Nicholas and Elliot Mathias; his daughter Arlene Lovgren (Brad) of Wahpeton, ND; his grandchildren, Tyler Hallie (Jenna), Bryson Lovgren, Alex Andi Lovgren (Mary), Wyatt (Tristan), Clara Lovgren and Curtis Fargo (Michelle); and his great grandchildren, Karlie and Reaghen Mathias. He is also survived by five children, 14 grandchildren & 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Don's family would appreciate monetary donations made to the Parkinson's Foundation OR Hospice of the Red River Valley.
